Xavi has not said ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to Barcelona because he has not been contacted by anyone from the club, Mundo Deportivo’s reliable Edu Polo reports.
However, the Catalans know from third parties that the 41-year-old would be delighted to take the job if they call him. The coach is also aware that many people from within the club are supporting him.
He currently continues his work in Qatar and is waiting for Joan Laporta to contact him.
Earlier, Marcelo Bechler reported that Xavi had said no to Barca. However, that rumour has been dispelled by Edu Polo, Fernando Polo, Javi Miguel and Toni Juanmarti, who are all said to have good connections with the legendary Blaugrana midfielder.
