Tuchel Finally Breaks Silence On Embarrassingly Critical Incident Against Newcastle Despite Abramovich’s Obvious Reaction;“If You Think I’m Happy About It, Then You’re Wrong”

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has disclosed yesterday’s results elsewhere in the league doesn’t make him happier, despite impressive Blues win at St James’ Park.

Chelsea were held to a still in the first half against the Magpies but were explosive in the second half, firing three past struggling Newcastle United.

Even tastier and invaluable was the three points given embarrassing results from Anfield and the Etihad stadiums, as Blues close title contenders, Liverpool and Man City were unable to pick the coveted three points in their respective games.

While Liverpool fell from two goals up against Brighton to settle for a 2-2 home draw, City were condemned to their second defeat of the league season thanks to Patrick Viera’s led Crystal Palace hitting two past Ederson without a City response.

Quizzed on the joy of having their title contenders drop points, Tuchel was quick to state that results elsewhere doesn’t matter to him despite apparent gladness in the West Londoners hierarchy.

“There will never be a moment where we celebrate results on the other pitches” Tuchel said. “First of all, it’s far too early. And second of all, we want to focus on ourselves because what goes around comes around. We don’t do this.

“There is a long way to go and if you think we’re even happier now [because of other results], this is not true.

“I am happy today with our performance off the ball, this was key from the first minute to the last minute. The effort and discipline we put into the moments without the ball were key today.” he added.
