Santi Cazorla explains what Barcelona will get if Xavi become Barca coach

“As coach, he wants the ball and we train based on rondos, possession, position play, pure Barca school, to defend with the ball” Santi Cazorla told Marca.

Carzola continued: “I think that he understands football that way and he practices it. It’s not unique, but perhaps, in having the ball, Xavi is unique.

“At La Roja, when we were teammates, he always had that philosophy of football. It was very clear,” Cazorla added.

In case you’re wondering why Cazorla has such an insight on Xavi – the former Spain midfielder currently plays under the tutelage at Al Sadd.

The 36-year-old midfielder has won 5 titles in Qatar, including the Emir of Qatar Cup which Al Sadd won last week.
