Paris Saint Germain are growing increasingly confident over the completion of a deal to sign Eduardo Camavinga this summer.
Mauricio Pochettino is looking to further strengthen his squad by bringing in a top-quality central midfielder, and the 18-year-old starlet’s move is now edging closer.
Camavinga‘s contract with Rennes is up next summer, and his club know that securing half of the 100 million euro fee that they had been looking for before the Coronavirus pandemic would be an excellent deal.
The move would also increase the French presence in the PSG dressing room, as the club look to add the highest calibre of national talent to a squad of which only Kylian Mbappe played a major role in France’s World Cup triumph in 2018.
Talks between PSG and Rennes have progressed significantly in recent hours, as the Parisian club look set to land the young star who has attracted the interest of Europe’s elite in recent seasons.
