“I’m not surprised [with La Liga’s actions], they always look at us with a magnifying glass,” Joan Laporta told the media during Xavi’s press conference.
“And every day they invent something new. Now they want to do another audit of our accounts, although we’ve recently conducted one,” the president added.
Earlier, it was reported that La Liga’s president Javier Tebas would like Barca to conduct yet another financial audit as they considered Xavi’s arrival too suspicious given the club’s huge debt.
