He is a wonderful person and a great friend. Together with Andres Iniesta, we had very good experiences and understood each other.
I wish him all the best,” Barcelona’s captain Sergio Busquets has said.
“[It’s like] we’re starting a new season at Barcelona and I hope to be better with the team and with the national team.
I don’t have many years left in my career and I want to take advantage of them.”
Sergio and the new Blaugrana coach now each other well back from when Xavi was still a player. Across Barca and the national team, the two played 314 matches together and combined for four goals.
As per previous reports, Xavi wants to improve Busquets’ performances by bringing back tiki-taka. So far this term, the 33-year-old has played 16 matches for Barca, scoring a goal
