Injury update: Barcelona attacking duo ruled out till November

According to reports from AS, Barcelona forward duo of Sergio Agüero and Ousmane Dembele are said to stay out of action until the month of November.

Both the players have been sidelined for a considerable amount of time now, and recovery has been progressing in the right direction.

Dembele suffered an injury during the Euro 2020, forcing him to end his run with the national team. The forward sustained an injury during his 30-minute appearance as a substitute in France’s draw against Hungary.

His injury was immediately identified by Barcelona’s medical staff as a serious setback. Moreover, a lengthy recovery period was estimated for Dembele.

Meanwhile, Sergio Agüero joined FC Barcelona on 31st May. However, the Argentine faced a serious setback in the early days at his new club. The preliminary prognosis was a minimum period of ten weeks when the player would be out of action.

With latest report saying that both forwards will be unavailable until November, it is unlikely for them to feature before Barcelona’s champions league clash against Dynamo Kyiv.

That said, both Aguero and Dembele will not be a part of the team for several crucial clashes this month. Amongst them is the mouthwatering clash against Bayern Munich, tough games against Valencia and Atletico Madrid, and El Clasico.

Until the duo return, Ronald Koeman has a difficult task. With the attack looking relatively bleak, he will have to look towards Martin Braithwaite and Memphis Depay to keep up their good form.

However, Ansu Fati’s expected return this month could be a crucial factor in determining how the team will cope without Aguero and Dembele. What did yonExcellent
