Atletico Madrid striker Luis Suarez was recently asked about the possibility of Ronald Koeman being sacked by Barcelona in an interview with SPORT.
The two sides meet in La Liga this Saturday and a loss could prompt the Catalans to sack Koeman.
Suarez, who famously fell out with the Dutchman following his appointment, replied: “It’s destiny. He told me to train on pitch as if I were 15-years-old.
“He hurt me, he annoyed me. I came home crying from contempt.”
Suarez’s unceremonious departure soured his relationship with Koeman but he now has a chance for revenge as Atletico soon meet Barcelona.
Another defeat could finally make the club hierarchy sack Koeman amid a public war of words with Barca president Joan Laporta.
