Chelsea are reportedly prepared to let a player go in the January transfer window that was signed by ex-manager Frank Lampard.
Hakim Ziyech, who earns £100,000-a-week, completed a move to Stamford Bridge last year from Ajax.
The left-footed winger does have a Champions League medal with the Blues to his name, scoring a couple of goals en route to winning the European trophy last season.
However, eight goals and five assists in 49 total Chelsea appearances is underwhelming for someone who moved to London with a glowing reputation.
According to 90min, Ziyech is pushing to move away from Chelsea in the New Year.
It is understood the 28-year-old attacker wants to leave to pursue more regular game time elsewhere as he’s struggling to nail down a spot in Thomas Tuchel’s XI.
The report adds that Chelsea wouldn’t stand in his way of exiting and would consider selling him.
German club Borussia Dortmund are interested in taking Ziyech on loan in January.
