The legendary Italy defender is currently suffering from an injury and might miss the trip to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea on 23rd November
Juventus have been handed an early injury blow ahead of their Champions League clash versus Chelsea, with captain Giorgio Chiellini reportedly doubtful.
The defender initially linked up with the Italian national team ahead of the current international break but has had to return to Turin to undergo tests on an Achilles injury, as per Tuttosport.
Whilst the problem is not thought to be too serious, it could keep the veteran out of action for a few key matches.
According to the reports, he will miss Friday evening’s clash with Switzerland at the Stadio Olimpico and will almost certainly be restricted to the sidelines for Monday’s tie with Northern Ireland as Italy round off their 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign.
