Chelsea have been recently linked with a host of players, with the winter transfer window quickly approaching.
But a forgotten player on the books would return to the fold, says Tuchel.
The German spoke about the future of Emerson Palmieri, who is currently on loan at French side Lyon.
Palmieri, 27, enjoyed quite few games last term with the Blues.
Despite racking up minutes away from Stamford Bridge, the Chelsea boss disclosed the Brazilian-born defender will return to the club soon enough.
He told TNT Sports via Caught Offside: “Yes, we follow. Of course. [Emerson] is a great player and a fantastic person. I’m so happy for him and knowing he’s enjoying this moment.
“For us, the logic was: Emerson, go and show how good you are.
“I couldn’t give him enough playing time, and we know the quality he has. When they believe in him, he’s a top-quality player, so I’m happy for him.”
Tuchel added: “At a certain point in a player’s career, it’s important to have enough playing time at the highest level.
“I’m happy for Emerson now, and we’ll see him again soon.”
