Barcelona are interested in signing Granada goalkeeper Luis Maximiano as a potential long-term replacement for Marc-Andre ter Stegen, claims Mundo Deportivo.
The 22-year-old has been on Barca’s radar for a long time.
The club have also been accumulating scouting reports on him for the past few years.
With Neto likely to leave and Inaki Pina to be loaned out next year, Barca are aiming to sign the talented young goalkeeper as the heir to Ter Stegen.
The German goalkeeper is being linked to an exit after recent poor displays and could be replaced if things don’t improve.
Maximiano has made 5 La Liga appearances for Granada so far this season, keeping 2 clean sheets and conceding 6 goals.
