Antonio Rudiger sends strong message to Aston Villa opponent after Chelsea win

Chelsea made it 10 points from their opening four Premier League games on Saturday as their impressive start to the season continued with a 3-0 win against Aston Villa.

Romelu Lukaku found the target twice, either side of Mateo Kovacic’s second-half strike, to round off the convincing victory for Thomas Tuchel’s side.

Belgian got the scoring under way in the first half, latching onto a stunning Kovacic through ball before calmly finishing with his right foot. Kovacic then took advantage of a Tyrone Mings error before Lukaku rocketed in a third in injury time.

After the game, Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey took to to share some snaps from the game, including two that featured Blues defender Antonio Rudiger.

The German was quick to reply in the comments, saying simply: “Nice one brother” along with a smiling emoji.
