Ben Chilwell and Tammy Abraham have been selected to start for England against Andorra tonight, much to the delight of the Chelsea fans.
The duo have enjoyed entirely different starts to the new season but both have the chance to impress Gareth Southgate as well as their respective club coaches, Thomas Tuchel and Jose Mourinho, by performing well tonight.
Chilwell has struggled for minutes at Stamford Bridge so far this campaign after losing his place in Chelsea’s starting line-up to Marcos Alonso.
Meanwhile, Abraham has looked a constant threat in attack for Mourinho’s AS Roma. Although he has only found the net twice in the Serie A, his all round gameplay has been phenomenal, and it looks as though he is enjoying his football in Italy
The striker moved to Rome in a deal worth £34million in the summer after Tuchel had made it clear that he wasn’t in his long-term plans – especially after the Blues signed Romelu Lukaku in a club record deal worth £97.5million.
Nevertheless, it’s great to see them both doing well and representing their country, particularly from Chelsea fans
