Andreas Christensen final contract demands revealed as Chelsea complete first January transfer

Andreas Christensen’s final contractual demands revealed

Bayern Munich bosses had a meeting with Andreas Christensen’s representatives in December to express their interest in the Chelsea defender, according to German outlet.

Interestingly, instead of Antonio Rudiger, a Germany international, Bayern are reportedly monitoring Christensen as a potential replacement for Niklas Sule who will also be a free agent at the end of the season.

Sport1 claims that the Bundesliga champions were in contact with Christensen’s representatives last month.

As it stands, the report added, the Denmark international has not ruled out extending his Chelsea contract, but he is also looking for a pay rise, the Chelsea Chronicle have reported.

He is reportedly among the lowest earners in the current Chelsea squad with a pre-tax weekly salary of €100,000 (£84,000)-per-week.

The report further added that the 25-year-old wants to double his salary which would see him earn almost €10million (£8.4million)-per-year.
