Chelsea are reportedly keeping close tabs on teenage talent, Hugo Ekitike.
This is according to Foot Mercato, who claim the Blues have contacted Reims about the possibility of landing their wonder kid in the summer.
Who is Ektike?
Ekitike has been attracting attention from across Europe thanks to his performances in Ligue 1 this season.
The 19-year-old is already on eight goals for the term, level with Chelsea’s club-record signing Romelu Lukaku.
Considering the attacker’s only other season in senior football was with Danish side Vejle BK in 2020/21, his scoring haul cannot be sneered at.
He is just two goals behind the talisman of French football, Kylian Mbappe, a player who the Reims striker has been likened to before.
